Every story is a story of great failure

Generally failure is the initial step to success.  Failure is the highway to success. Failures are the stepping stones to the success.  History tells us that all stories of success are also stories of great failure. There are two sides of coin, “Head and Tail”. Like coin same is with life, there are also two sides “Success and Failure”. Generally people only see the success part, not a failure part of story. They don’t see the struggle behind the success. They always think and say “He got lucky, he must be at right place at right time”.

Success is not the absence of failure. It is overcoming failure. Successful people don’t do great thing, they only do small thing in a great way. Once a successful personality Tom Watson said,” If you want to succeed, double your failure rate”.
We all know about Thomas Edison. Thomas Edison as a student had only three month of schooling. He sold newspaper to earn his living. When he was trying to invent bulb, he failed approximately 10,000 times. When he finally invented bulb, he was asked what he learnt from his failures. Then he replied,” I’ve not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work”. He also replied each time of his failure he learnt that at least you cannot invent bulb with the previous attempt.
Let take another example of Thomas Edison. In 1914, at age of sixty-seven, due to fire Thomas Edison lost his few million dollars factory. It had very little insurance. Edison watched his lifetime effort go up in a smoke. In spite of disaster, three weeks later he invented the phonograph. What an attitude!
The above example confirms that success is not the absence of failures. Thomas Edison success in spite of problems, not in absence of them. But to negative thinkers, it appears as though they just “got lucky”.

All success stories are stories of great failures. The only difference is that every time they failed, they bounced back. This is called failing forward, rather than backward. You learn and move forward. Learn from your failure and keep going.

Setbacks are unavoidable. A setback act as driving force and also teach us humility. After every setback, ask yourself: What did you learn from this experience? Only then you will be able to turn a stumbling block into a stepping stone. In order to turn a setback into a comeback, we need to think positive and learn from our experience. Henry Ford said,” If you think you can, you can. If you think you cannot, you cannot”.

Learn to become victors, not victims. Fear and doubt short-circuit the mind……
