Save Girls

We live in a country where people worship many female Goddesses at various festivals and at another hand, they are killed by those people. We live in country where we learn from childhood for respect girls and women and at another hand, they are raped by those people.

WHY?

            We live in country where we learn that girls and boys have equal right in our country. But in our society, girls are considered as the curse from the ancient time. No one think in our society that without girls, boy child can never take birth in this world. If we think the question arise that how the girls can be a curse. So, why people do lots of violence again women and girls? Why they want to kill girls before taking birth? Why people rape or sexually harass the girls? Why girls are attacked by acid?

            If our society think then it is clear to understand that a girls and women are very important for our society. They always become blessing for the society and reason for the continuation of life in this world. Girls are pillars of the society. Girls can be a good daughter, a sister, a mother, a wife and other good relations. So, why people do lots of criminal activities with girls and women. In our society no one think for girls before her death or rape. It is very shame for our society to kill girls before birth in the mother womb. Our society forget that without girls and women everything is incomplete in this world like man, home and a world itself. 

 We live in country where people save girls after her death, after when she was raped.

Yes it sound very funny but it is true. When a girls has been raped no one come to save her but after her death number of peoples come around from different place for candle march, protest against rape and etc etc. It is beneficial? No, because she was no more.  They forget that they are also involve in such type of criminal activity. Before birth, sex determination test and choose the option of abortion in case of girls is also a criminal activity.  If we want to save girls then we have to do something when she was alive. It is not only duty of our government to protect all girls and women and all people. It is also our responsibility to save girls and women.

Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has said in his speech on girls that “Am standing before you as beggar”. He has launched a nationwide campaign named “Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao”. Here what our Prime Minister has said in his speech:

  • ·         “The prime minister of the country is begging you to save the lives of girls”.
  • ·          “In nearby Kurukshetra, a boy called prince fell into a well, and the whole nation watched the rescue operation on TV. For one prince, people united to pray, but with so many girls killed we don’t react”.
  • ·         “We are not worthy of being called citizens of 21st century- at that time, and just after a girl’s birth, she was killed. We are worse now, we don’t even allow the girls to be born”.




Girls and boys are equal in our society. It’s our responsibility to give them equal chance to live and equal rights. We should realize our responsibilities of being an human and give a better stop to this evil crime. So, its my humble request to all of you that please involve yourself in saving the girls and women.
